  My pipes are higher quality compared to some of the others sold on Etsy. Many stores here are selling import pipes made with lower quality glass. The clear I use on the outside to encase the colors on the inside, is an old German made formula that is highly durable. Its quality is above and beyond its lesser Chinese and Indian import alternatives, which are made cheaper and with less refinement. 99% of the colors I use are manufactured in Portland, OR less than 100 miles away. Similarly, unlike their import alternatives, the colors I use are the highest quality pyrex/borosilicate glass colors made to this day.
  
  I'm very fortunate to live where the glass pipe scene originally started and where the best color makers are. A side benefit is the money I spend stays circulating in the US instead of leaving our economy and going overseas.
